View Full Version : Anyone practice JuJitsu or similar?
Hello all,
Just recently Ive taken up JuJitsu and im really enjoying it.
Does anyone else practice JuJitsu or any other kind of self-defence?
Im already finding my fitness improve (which wasnt too bad before) and it certainly beats going to the gym thats for sure.
What are your experiences of any martial art and do you have any tips for me?

MEGA LOLZZZZZZ loveeee it
did some taiquando as a kid.
main thing is balance and flexability, flexlability will allow better speed in movement and kick higher.
its important to properly warm up too before you start kicking n stuff.
i used to use a wooden rail about waist height one leg on it the other streaght lean over and hold ur toes stretch the muscles etc less chance of pulling or injuring urself when doing moves,
basically just work ur muscles before you start try putting ur back against the wall and squat like ur sitting in a fake chair for a while man thats a killer.
erm dont be too heavy on your heels alot of the time when ur kicking and turning you wanna be off your heel and this is where balance is essentiel.
curl ur toes back when kicking you dont wanna break them!
