My Fezza Update

Thought i would start one of these as i'm planning on doing a number of things to my fezza, i have already done a few things in the first month of owning it, heres a pic of her standard when i first brought her home:

as i'm planning on getting a HID kit with the next pay check i bought some sidelight and fog bulbs that will match the kit:

then i got bored one day so i installed my sub and hooked it up to the standard headunit, not amazing sound quality but it will do for the time being (tiger is making sure all the wiring stays in order):

HIDs turned out to be different colours!!! so i'm sending the whole kit back and i'm going to invest in a better kit. On the upside i have some spax lowering springs coming on friday so the fezz will be going down 45mm!!

I'm gonna have a bash at fitting them so if all goes well, yes. lol.

riiight attempted to fit my springs on saturday, got the rears on and the front passenger side but front drivers side shock would not come apart n we ended up mashing the bolt up so we couldn't get the spring off, so atm is lowerd on three wheels and i have a new shock coming tommorow so that should all be sorted by tommorow. It also recently failed its MOT cos when i smoked one of the headlights i dropped it n broke the electric adjuster so the beam sat to low, so i bought a new 1 and now i have 1 smoked and 1 standard so i'l to get round to sorting that. On the upside i have finally got my HIDs sorted and im really pleased with them sooo bright, i'l get some pics up soon. Then on another downer i gotta have a new windscreen fitted on wednesday due to a crack!!!!

All the springs are now sorted she sits alot lower now handles great and looks great really chuffed, i'll get some pics up. Also new windscreen is gonna be fitted in like 10-20 mins so thats another thing sorted, now she just needs a wash for thursday night :)

Small update, i have some ford seat covers on the way and some mats as i have never had any, so interior is protectd for the winter. Also got another HID kit on its way as i'm having HID fogs :)

I'm still not 100% sure whether to order a kit.. If I were to buy a kit then it'd have to be 8000k cus that's what I think looks best. The thing that worries me, is the wiring, cus my headlights aren't standard so it could all be different? & the other thing, the police. You had any trouble with the police yet mate?

No trouble at all with police, i had a copper have a word with me about having my fogs on, on saturday but that was fair enough as it's illegal to have them on unless you cant see more than 100 metres in front of you, just take the bulb out n find out what type it is, the wiring is easy simply plug the ballast that you get with the HIDs into where you would normally plug the bulb and find a home for the ballast and your done.

Someone said to me that anything above 6000k is illegal but i'm not 100% sure if thats true, as i say iv'e got 8000k and iv'e never been pulled and baveymk4 has 12000k n i don't think he's been pulled either.

its got everything i need and it does the job well, so chuffed with that. Fitting it was a bit of a pain cos i had to buy a new bit of dash, a fascia adapter and the converter leads but i got there in the end, i'll get a pic up of it fitted soon.

Here's what iv'e got planned for when i get paid so it'l be ready for the yarmouth meet:

1. New HID fogs
2. New Facelift Headlights
3. New Facelift Rear Lights Tinted
4. Possibly New Bi-xenon Hids
5. Remote Stalk & Interface so i can use my factory audio remote with new headunit
6. Pinstriping
7. Possibly Aero Wipers
8. Getting a quote on full window tints
9. and a good clean as you cant read the rear numberplate atm lol

I also ordered a new part of my bumper which came through the other day for when i have my cat-back system fitted was a rip off but it'l be worth it in the end.

Right car has completley changed again lol i am now back on standard zetec s rims, i'm putting standard springs back on tonight, my black wheels and lowering springs are now sold. I have now fitted facelift rear lights which look much better and iv'e taken the red tape off, so its looking pritty standard atm, i'm saving for some new bits as im going for a completley different look ;)

Right alot has changed since my last update, i have now lowered it on coilovers, fitted a laguna splitter, fitted a bonnet bra, sprayed my calipers, grill pinstripe and fog surrounds Ford Signal Green, and then painted the grill and surrounds glossy black. Just ordered green ford badges and center caps, thinking about getting my seats trimmed in black leather and alcantara with green stitching and adding a few green n black chekered patterns in places :) i shall take some pics tonight of how she currently sits :)

Just thought i'd update this, as some of you know i am now rolling on schmidtz i am currently in the process of smoothing my front grill out, i have moved my numberplate down and the recess will be getting smoothed, i have also had a slight bit of camber put on the rear wheels ;) lol also fitted a new splitter from a zetec, next up should hopefully be the front arches being rolled so i can drop it a bit more, also just fitted LED numberplate bulbs and LED sidelights and winter wheels will probably go back on tonight :(

Indeed it was, just got 2 rear tyres fitted as the camber had kinda ruined them lol also got all 4 wheels balanced for £40 :)

Hopefully should start looking a bit more euro soon as im getting a smoothed grill off a mate, bumper is getting smoothed out as soon as i get paid and also getting an alpine satnav, dvd headunit thingymajig on the cheap from a mate so getting there slowly but surely

First thing i'll be after is the coilies... if they will fit a derv!! They may not be able to withstand the immense powah transferred to the wheels!!!.... :P

Will probably buy a new bra, if i get one that is. 3rd hand bras tend to have milk stains on them. Don't ask how i know this.

Me n Josh fitted my leather heated ST seats last night had a few issues but got there in the end i shall get some pics ASAP got them and a set of facelift electric mirrors colour coded all for £430 which was a bargain really as the seats are worth at least £600 and the mirrors go for like £50 each on the bay so well chuffed :)

Still need to wire in the heated seats and the mirror electrics but shouldnt be to tricky!!

Little Updatings, have a scrapped bumper on its way to me for 39 english pounds which will be my donar while my current bumper gets smoooothed which is going to the bodyshop within the next few days :)

Also heated seats are now wired in and damn my ass is on fire!!! lol

Little update, now rolling around with a crappy zetec bumper as i dropped my bumper off to the bodyshop for smoothidgeness on saturday so hopefully should get that back in a couple of weeks!!!

Bumper news, went to see it and the recess is all smoothed out and all the damage has been sorted the guy is now going to smooth the grill out then (so he says) it will be ready for paint by the end of the week so hopefully get it back soon! :)

Fezz is now running standard suspension all round, camber is gone, schmidts will be off by this evening and will be getting sold asap, then i will be selling the bonnet bra, facelift mirrors, blacked out headlights, coilovers anything non standard really then i need to source a new front bumper and a set of Zetec S wheels then i will run it standard for a few months then sell it. So that concludes this progress thread really lol.
