The Fast Show - 22/03/09

Hi All,

I recently emailed the organisers of "The Fast Show" (http://www.thefastshow.com) to confirm details about organising a stand, and I have had a reply.

All admission tickets must be bought in advance. We require a minimum of 10 cars in order to book a stand. If we want a stand for say, 25 cars, we need to have paid for 25 admission tickets in advance. Less than 10 cars will result in no stand, meaning we will be in public parking.

Priority is given on a first booked, first served basis. When they pitside is full, stands will be allocated on the grass bankside. I think this is where we will be as we're not in a position to book a stand just yet as we have members joining more regularly now.

I need to know how many people wish to attend this show on Sunday 22nd March 2009 so that I am able to arrange stand passes.

I will set a deadline at a later date to ensure we get everything sorted to attend this show.

Please add your name to the list if you honestly wish to attend this show. I do not want people messing about. Only put your name down if you WILL attend with EAMCC.

Ticket Prices = £15 per ticket, £20 for 4 laps

well i know you dont know me very well my i done motocross a little while ago and my dads van was vinyled there wernt much space left on the van il get a pic up soon well cut a story sort my dad to school with him and are always in touch..... so could get the car done for like £10 well put it this way my dad paid £50 for the whole van so just let me know if you want any thing done!

you should hurry mate, most entries for decent stand locations are pretty much paid for now

been last few years and we paid about may timeand on the outskirts when your miles from everything

I will extend the deadline for payments until Friday 27th February (Colchester Meet), which potentially means a worst location for a stand BUT this is the final deadline!!

that sucks big time, 23 people put their names down which would have made it an awsome stand and a great display of motors but only a handfull of people paid up, I have to ask the question why put your name down if your not going to pay up?

yup ive gotta put my hands together to all the admin/mods/area reps and what other jobs people are ment to be doing on here! we have known about this show for months!! loadsssssssssssssss of time to plan a stand but it was only squizzer that did any of the chasing to get people on the stand, so everyone else who put their name down on the list and say theey wanna get this site out there, give you selfs a pat on the back, job well done.......

Modified Nationals is 22-24 May.......we're going for the weekend with a stand.
